Red Dead Redemption 2 is less than two weeks out, but has already been shipped 17 million times worldwide. Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, announced this during the presentation of the second quarter results for the fiscal year 2019.
In less than two weeks, Red Dead Redemption 2 has been shipped 17 million times. Take-Two Entertainment announced that news during its reporting of the second quarter results of the fiscal year 2019. However, these are not copies sold, but the number of games that have been sent to the stores.
Since its release on October 26 for PS4 and Xbox One, Red Dead Redemption 2 has shipped more times than the total sales of its predecessor, Red Dead Redemption. The first part that revolved around the reformed John Marston was released eight years ago.
In addition to the Red Dead figures, Take-Two also announced that Grand Theft Auto V has now been shipped to stores a hundred million times. That game initially came out on PS3 and Xbox 360, but then also got releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
