Last week, a new trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 was released, showing us a ton of gameplay that you say you’re against. The footage in the video is entirely from a PlayStation 4 Pro, but what about the game on the Xbox One X?

In the latest gameplay video of Rockstars Red Dead Redemption 2, we see the game played in full on the PlayStation 4 Pro. At least, that’s what Sony humblebled in their PlayStation Blog.

Despite the fact that the game already looks beautiful on the PlayStation 4 Pro, there are a large number of players who wonder whether the game will use the power of the Xbox One X optimally. However, because an agreement has been made between Rockstar and Sony regarding the marketing of Red Dead Redemption 2, the studio cannot (yet) comment on the Xbone X version.

Fortunately, if you go to the Xbox website, there is a list of games that support 4K and HDR. If you scroll down for a moment, you will see that Red Dead Redemption 2 is also listed and will therefore probably use the full power of Microsoft’s latest console. So don’t worry, your purchase of a beautiful 4K television (and an Xbox One X) has not been in vain!

It looks like Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to be played in native 4K or true 4K resolution, but we’ll have to wait a while until Rockstar confirms this great prospect for the Xbox One X.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
