Red Dead Redemption 2 to PC in 2019?
Actually, the question is not if, but when Red Dead Redemption 2 will come to PC. Rockstar has a hand at never announcing the PC version directly, but only bringing games to that platform later. Now the first signs are appearing that this will happen in 2019, as Media Markt has put the game online for PC. The release date is still at 12/31/2019, which is obviosly a placeholder. De Wacht thinks that we will not be able to get started with the PC version until the beginning of 2020.
Two discs confirmed for PS4 version Red Dead Redemption 2
More Red Dead news! Earlier this week a picture came out in which we saw that Red Dead Redemption 2 in Japan was delivered on 2 Blu-Ray discs. Now we know for sure that this is the case worldwide at least on the PlayStation 4, because the Canadian YouTuber ‘Kofi’ has put an image online with clearly the two discs. This is an installation disc, a playback disc, so you don’t have to change discs while playing. The same is expected for the Xbox One version of the game.
FIFA 19 esporter banned by EA for two months
FIFA esporter Kurt Fenech, better known as Kurt 0411, is no longer allowed to participate in official FIFA tournaments for two months because of expressing ‘abuse behavior’ towards others within the FIFA community. Kurt has regularly criticized EA and does not shy away from openly razing FIFA 18 and FIFA 19 to the ground. He has also regularly insulted other players in the scene or strongly criticized other players. Kurt also once walked away during a semi-final, thanks to a controversial “kick-off goal”.
Treyarch opens the Black Market in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has been out for over a week now and is going well, although physically fewer copies of the game were sold than in previous years. However, this doesn’t stop Activision from opening the Black Market, where you unlock rewards in a Fortnite-esque way. Blackjack’s Shop will go live in November, where you can throw money at cool skins and the like. For more info about the Black Market, check out this flashy trailer!
Fight online with penises in Soul Calibur 6
You read it right! Soul Calibur 6 was released yesterday and apparently someone thought it was a good idea at the developer to include a character creation mode in the game. It didn’t take more than 24 hours for it to go completely wrong, as you can see below. The Guard is curious whether Bandai Namco will do something against this phenomenon. Agent 47 dresses up as a scarecrow in Hitman’s Halloween DLC
Hitman 2 is about to be released, but since that game hasn’t been released before Halloween, we can get started with fresh Halloween content in the earlier part! For example, you can dress up Agent 47 as a scarecrow, the Colorado map is now temporarily available to everyone and you can get started with 10 new Featured Contracts. The Halloween DLC is now free to download for Hitman on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Invite-only alpha for EVE spin-off Project Nova starts in November
EVE Online is still a very popular MMO and that is why it is not surprising that spin-off games are being developed within the franchise. CCP tried this before with Dust 514, but this game completely flopped and you really shouldn’t be ashamed if you don’t even know what it is. Now CCP, in partnership with Crackdown and Snake Pass developer Sumo Digital, is trying again, with Project Nova. It is still unclear when the game should be released, but the invite-only alpha for this game should go live in November. You can register for the alpha via this link.
Become a Master Trainer in Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee!
In some interviews with Game Freak it already shone through the past few days, but now we also have the official announcement and a trailer! In Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee you can take on Master Trainers after completing the story. Every Pokémon has a Master Trainer, which you can beat for the title of Charizard Master Trainer, for example. However, different rules apply to these battles and they seem to be getting tough. The Guard is already looking forward to Magikarp vs. Magikarp battles!
Tomorrow is Beldum Community Day in Pokémon GO
This is of course not news, but given the latest news about Pokémon I would like to remind you that tomorrow is Beldum Community Day in Pokémon GO. This is your best chance to catch a shiny Beldum and evolve some of them into a Metagross. So get off that lazy couch tomorrow and take a walk between 11:00 in the morning and 14:00 in the afternoon!
This was it for today. I’m going to enjoy my weekend, bye!
