Red Dead Redemption 2 will have first person mode

Rockstar Games today confirmed a very important detail for Red Dead Redemption 2.

In the new gameplay trailer, which explores the activities you’ll find in this wild west-inspired open world, Rockstar Games has revealed that there will be the option to switch to a first-person perspective.

Until now, the game had only been shown in third person, which led most fans to believe that there was no alternative. However, confirmation arrived today, with the trailer showing a few seconds of first-person gameplay (which converts the game into an FPS).

In Grand Theft Auto 5 Rockstar Games already offered this option, however, it should be remembered that the first-person mode arrived through an update a few months after launch. In Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available from launch.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available on October 26th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Check out the new trailer below.
