Resident Evil 3 Remake is infuriating many fans with Jill Valentine’s “mini skirt”
Resident Evil 3 Remake it only came out a few days ago, but it is already causing the first controversies: not for problems related to the game itself, the gameplay or who knows what bug … but for the dress of the protagonist Jill Valentine (and not even the basic one).
In the pre-order bonuses of the game there is, among the various add-ons, the classic Jill costume, inspired by the original Resident Evil 3, complete with a strapless blue sheath dress and black mini skirt. Unfortunately, it appears that Capcom has slightly altered this “vintage” look, with a change that is causing debate. The developers have in fact modified the black miniskirt, transforming it into a pair of shorts.
Obviously, the reason is easily understood: in the sections where Jill has to bend down and crawl in narrow places, the camera behind her shows her “side b” on several occasions and if she were wearing a miniskirt, you would see everything … literally all.
Although, on paper, this may seem like a bona fide change (perhaps dictated by Sony’s new rules on “sexual” game content, who knows?), Some fans have taken it really badly and some even want to launch a class. action against Capcom for false advertising, as the pre-order bonus specified the “classic” look and not an altered one.
Obviously, we don’t believe anyone really wants to sue the company for this reason, but the net is a place where you can find all kinds of opinions, even as extreme as this one, so who knows?
Jill? S Resident Evil 3 Pre-Order Costume IS NOT her original outfit. They changed her skirt to a skort. I guess the Ethics Department wins again … ???? # ResidentEvil3 pic.twitter.com/24dbdYnyrA

What is your opinion on this? Do you think shorts are a betrayal of Jill’s original look, or is it a modification that doesn’t affect you in the slightest?
