Rocket League Sideswipe released worldwide for Android and iOS – GamesRadar+

Rocket League Side Swipe, the mobile version of the famous game that mixes football and cars, is now available for free worldwide. The game was released for Android and iOS and can be downloaded on compatible devices – plus an account Epic Games is required to take advantage of online features, otherwise only offline matches are allowed.

Obviously, the game has been adapted to work entirely with the touchscreen, although it has retained much of the content and quality of the original, especially in terms of graphics. Even though it doesn’t compare to the PC or console version, it’s still a great looking game.

Watch the preview trailer to get an idea:

Among the small changes that are present we have the number of players, two for each team, and the format of the goal, which is now vertical – perhaps to better adapt to mobile phone screens, which also work vertically by fault.

Otherwise it’s the same Rocket League that everyone is used to, with the same goal: to score more goals against the opposing team in the given time of the match and win the game, with online and offline clashes.

What do I need to play?

To be a beautiful and recent game, Rocket League Side Swipe requires newer cell phones, but operating system versions vary.

In the case of Android, it is necessary to have a device with at least Android 6.0 and to have at least 871 MB of free storage space. For those who have iOS, it is necessary to have version 11.0 or higher, whether on iPhone, iPod or iPad, in addition to 1 GB of free space.

Of course, newer setups and devices should render games with less glitches and better performance.
