Shadowlands has become the fastest-selling PC game ever with 3.7 million
You can tell that World of Warcraft players were looking forward to new adventures and venturing into the Shadowlands, because Activision Blizzard announced that the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands expansion has become the fastest-selling PC video game ever.
This brutal record has been achieved after having sold 3.7 million units in just 24 hours, thus surpassing Diablo III, the previous title that this place held with the 3.5 million copies that it sold during its first day in stores.
Likewise, the company has wanted to take breast of other figures that the popular MMORPG has managed to leave behind, such as the fact that the months prior to the launch of this expansion were reached more players with monthly subscriptions than any other expansion in the last decade.
This has meant that players have spent more time in the world of Azeroth than in the same time period in any of the last ten years. In turn, the amount of time World of Warcraft has been played has doubled to the figures that were established last year in the same amount of time, so it is undeniable that World of Warcraft is experiencing one of its best times.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is already full of news and changes in certain aspects of the gameplay, to which we must add another good portion of content from today thanks to the first major update of the expansion with which it is will have access to the raid of the Nathria Castle, the first season of PvP and much more.
