August starts and that means new releases are about to see the light. One of the ones we have marked in red for a while it is undoubtedly the return of one of the best SEGA sagas… We speak as not of Shenmue I & II.

Shenmue I & II will be available from August 21 with a story “like you’ve never seen it before”

In the years 2000 and 2001, SEGA published the saga Shenmue I & II for console Dreamcast. This saga was pioneer in some features that we can see today in many modern video games such as exploring an open world, day and night cycles, weather changes, opening and closing times in establishments, etc.

Shenmue is an open world action adventure that combines the combat with the exploration / research Besides having characteristics typical of a game of role.

Tell the story of Ryo Hazuki, an adolescent specialist in jujitsu that in the year 1986 decides to return to his father’s dojo just to be witness to his murder at the hands of a man of Chinese nationality, Lan Di, who also steals a mysterious object known as the dragon mirror. So, Ryo vows to avenge his father’s death and begins to follow Lan Di’s trail.

For this new relaunch of the saga, Shenmue I & II contains everything we had in the original experience plus some new features:

  • Classic or modern controls (at our choice).
  • Possibility of putting the voices in japanese.
  • Improved user interface.
  • Screen Resolutions totally adjustable.
  • Each non-playable character he lives his life independently and follows his own routine.
  • Minigames Arcadian, collectibles, duck racing, etc.
  • Faithful re-enactments of Japan and Hong Kong in the 1980s.

Shenmue I & II will be available on 21 Aug 2018 for Playstation 4, Xbox One and Pc (Steam) for a price of 34.99 euros. Physical and digital editions will be available as well as different gifts.
