SnowRunner got new maps and vehicles – Season 2 premiere

  • Explore & Expand season has started in SnowRunner;
  • a lot of new content has been added to the game – maps, missions, cars and mechanics;
  • most of the news is available only to season pass holders, but the developers also took care of a few free gifts for all players.
  • Today, SnowRunner – a truck simulator from the Saber Interactive team – has started its second support season, entitled Explore & Expand (freely translated “explore and develop”). Therefore, we received a lot of new content, including, among others more gameplay mechanics, maps and cars. Below you will find the trailer summarizing the news.

    What exactly do we get? First of all, SnowRunner has two new maps, located in the Yukon Territory of Canada – Flooded Foothills and Big Salmon Peak. Both offer an area of 4 km2, which means that since the premiere, the game world has grown by as much as 50%. The DLC also includes three vehicles: CAT TH357D AG (small, highly mobile lift), KRS 58 “Bandit” (8×8 truck with a crane mounted behind the driver’s cab) and the CAT 770G (the largest car ever made in the series).

    In Yukon we will receive a completely new task to build an ore processing plant in an extremely wild and unfavorable location for civilization. This will require us to collect the necessary resources (hence the selection of vehicles added to the game, and not another one), and to use another novelty – the mechanics of creating charges.

    The content mentioned above is paid (available to season pass owners), but we also get some free stuff outside of it. It goes, among others with new vehicle appearance customization options, new Trials and Extreme Cargo missions in Taymyr and Alaska. The game will also feature the long-awaited function that allows you to transport cars on a trailer.
