Who knows, the revolution of Graphic card with NVIDIA sauce may well arrive between September and October.

AMD and NVIDIA are keeping a low profile as their new generation of graphics cards are to be released before the end of the year. A recent rumor comes to “push” for the GeForce RTX 4000 from NVIDIA.

Marketing from September?

PRO Hi-Tech’s Ilya Korneychuk reports that, according to his sources, Chinese resellers expect to receive their first batch of GeForce RTX 4000s in less than a month.

Sources which do not specify whether it is a question of wholesalers or already of resellers, but which indicate on the other hand very clearly that this is going well in the direction of real availability from September.

It is necessary to keep a certain distance vis-à-vis this rumor, but it is the first time that distributors advance such information and, until now, they refused to give the slightest precision.

We thought it would be interesting to relay this rumour, but we must point out that we find it difficult to believe it. Until now, there was no question of starting mass production before August/September. A bit short to supply resellers before October.

In addition, we must not forget a certain vagueness around the stocks of GeForce RTX 3000. Stocks which, if they were as important as some suggest, would not plead for an accelerated release of the Ada Lovelace generation (RTX 4000 ).

The release of next-gen Nvidia and AMD graphics cards is imminent

Not only is Nvidia Lovelace’s RTX 40 series listed in many variants, but there are also more listings for the 30 series, especially the RTX 30 Super series. Meanwhile, AMD RX 7000 variations are also listed on their own page.

The EEC is a brand registry that often reliably reveals product details, but that said, there is still no guarantee that these models will all be on the market. At a minimum, we know that these trademarks indicate that the manufacturers are either developing these products or hedging their bets and securing the trademarks in case they want to release one at a later date.

Analysis: What does this mean for Team Red?

Those AMD and Nvidia graphics cards debuting on the EEC usually show a fast approaching release date, which matches the rumored October release date for the NTX 4090.

Additionally, the fact that the AMD and Nvidia graphics cards were registered at the same time most likely means that they will launch around the same time in October as well. This would be great news for buyers as the market would be particularly competitive and could drive prices down.

Considering that for the launch of its latest graphics cards, AMD lagged behind Nvidia in launching its cards several months later, this might have contributed to it grabbing a much bigger share small market of this generation. It is therefore obvious that this time around, the tech giant will want to avoid a late launch at all costs.

Nvidia would prepare a real monster with 48 GB of GDDR6X memory

Once again Nvidia is the victim of a rumor (in this case a noise in the hallway) about its next graphics cards and in particular the famous RTX 4090 Ti.

Is Nvidia outbidding power for its next GeForce RTX graphics cards? In a recent Tweet, the ever-informed Kopite7kimi suggests some pretty crazy specs: NVIDIA is reportedly preparing a GeForce RTX 4090 Ti called The Beast:

A monster with an 800W TBP for the Nvidia RTX 4090 Ti?

This monster or rather this Nvidia beast would offer:

  • GPUs : AD102-400
  • CUDA Cores : 18,176
  • VRAM : 48 GB GDDR6X
  • Memory bus : 384 Bit
  • Memory speed: 24 Gbps
  • PTB : 800

Yes, you read that right. It would be a GeForce Nvidia card with no less than 48 GB in GDDR6X with a consumption of 800 Watts. This obviously remains to be taken with a grain of salt even if Kopite is rarely wrong on this kind of subject. Note, however, that NVIDIA would probably launch the GeForce RTX 4090, RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 as a priority. With a rumor swelling that there will be a general postponement due to GeForce RTX 3000 stocks running out.

Chinese vendors expect to receive RTX 4000s in less than a month

Tweezers are in order, it’s a simple tweet, for the moment, the various resellers seem to be mainly concerned about the stocks of RTX 3000 to sell. And others, including Igor’sLAB, evoke a completely different chronology, with mass production planned between August and September…

Radeon RX 7000 and GeForce RTX 4000: Trademark Filings Show AMD and Nvidia Cards Approaching

In the PC hardware sector, the next graphics cards from AMD and Nvidia are on everyone’s lips. We expect the launch of the RDNA 3 and Ada Lovelace architectures before the end of 2020 and the months go by. AMD has already promised to unveil its RDNA 3 graphics cards in 2022 and Nvidia should not leave it free with its GeForce RTX 4000s. While waiting for announcements, rumors are multiplying, and sometimes real leaks.

EASY NAMES TO GUESS

Not enough to jump to the ceiling all the same. This is to trademark the names of future AFOX products and the brand has trademarked the names most likely to be used by AMD and Nvidia within the next 15 months.

First with AMD and its new generation Radeon RX 7000 RDNA 3:

  • Radeon RX 7900 XT and Radeon RX 7900
  • Radeon RX 7800 XT and Radeon RX 7800
  • Radeon RX 7700 XT and Radeon RX 7700
  • Radeon RX 7600 XT and Radeon RX 7600
  • Radeon RX 7500 XT and Radeon RX 7500

But also with Nvidia and its future Ada Lovelace GeForce RTX 4000:

  • GeForce RTX 4090 Ti and GeForce RTX 4090
  • GeForce RTX 4080 Ti and GeForce RTX 4080
  • GeForce RTX 4070 Ti and GeForce RTX 4070
  • GeForce RTX 4060 Ti and GeForce RTX 4060
  • GeForce RTX 4050 Ti and GeForce RTX 4050

It is obvious that Nvidia and AMD do not really intend to launch 20 new references in a few months. AFOX took the lead in imagining everything AMD and Nvidia could have in the boxes. That being said, if the brand is now filing these references, it is probably because it is planning the launch.
