Spoken job advertisements suggest that the second part is already being prepared.
Among the best of this year, we mention the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which after a long time has finally become a really good Star Wars game – is left out of the Game Awards nominees only because it slipped out of the nomination deadline due to its late appearance. In light of this, it’s no wonder developers are already looking for manpower to continue – of course, if that’s really the case.
Three new job opportunities have appeared on Respawn Entertainment’s website: Senior Character Artist, Level Designer, and Senior Software Engineer are looking for professionals at the studio. That in itself means nothing, of course, but it was also predicted that developers would need an outside-looking action-adventure game. Moreover, they have also specified that they are specifically looking for new people for their “Star Wars team” and are looking forward to the application of future staff who are themselves committed to the Star Wars universe.
Sure, it’s also possible that they’re making a whole new Star Wars game, and the story of Cal Kestis doesn’t continue, but we’d definitely be most happy to be able to relive his adventures again. Do you think the Fallen Order deserves a sequel?
