Starting tomorrow you can play PS4 games on your PC or Mac

UPDATE: PS4 Remote Play is now available. Read our PS4 Remote Play tutorial how to activate the service in three easy steps.

From tomorrow you can update 3.5 for the PlayStation 4 to download. This makes it possible, among other things, to stream your PlayStation 4 games to the PC or Mac via the ‘PC Remote Play’ function.

Streaming supports resolutions up to 720p but is set to 540p by default. The frame rate goes up to 60fps and is 30fps by default. You can use the Dualshock 4 controller if you connect it via USB.

Your PC must run on Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. The Mac must be equipped with OS 10.10 or 10.11.

Other novelties of update 3.5 are the functions to show yourself offline to other players, get notifications when friends come online and see what game your friends are playing together in a party. There is also the option to broadcast directly on Dailymotion.

As of today, the PlayStation Plus games from April can already be downloaded.

Recently it was also announced that Sony is working on the PlayStation 4.5.
