Steam Link and Steam Controller not working on Mac
The Steam Link and Steam Controller don’t work on Macs at this time. Developer Valve says it will implement compatibility ‘soon’.
The Steam Link does not stream from a Mac and the Steam Controller emulation does not work on an Apple computer yet. Valve hopes to update the firmware within weeks. This should ensure that the devices can run on a Mac. Until then, Mac users can use the Steam Client Beta to emulate a mouse and keyboard.
The Steam Link and Steam Controller will be released November 10th. Valve’s Steam Machines will be released on the same day. The prices of some Steam Machine versions have also been announced.
