Alex and Steve, the two Minecraft characters, will arrive in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on October 14.

The designer of the popular fighting game, Masahiro Sakurai, explained in the presentation trailer that both characters can chop materials and create blocks in Smash, just like Minecraft do, and will have a final blow called House of Boom. His tools, of course, will have a limited duration and can be broken, which will have to use the construction table to create new ones.

There will also be a new level, Minecraft World, with six Minecraft-inspired zones. Destructible zones change randomly in each game, and there is also a day and night cycle, with zombies and skeletons at night. The songs, meanwhile, will be taken from Minecraft Earth and Minecraft Dungeons.
