Microsoft is currently rolling out a new system update for Xbox One that will include the new version of the Xbox Live Avatars.

The new version of the Avatars, already introduced on Xbox 360 and developed by Rare, looks a lot more detailed and modern. There are also more options for shaping the body and choosing clothes. If you don’t like the new Avatars at all, then there is nothing to worry about: you can just keep using the old Avatars.

Furthermore, the system update adds new languages for the Narrator, including Dutch. So if your English is not very good, then that is very useful. You can now also use Cortana and Alexa devices to control your Xbox One if your controller isn’t enough. Finally, support for Dobly Vision HDR video streaming is added. The first app to use this is Netflix.
