Telltale | Processed by employee after mass layoff
A former employee of Telltale Games filed a lawsuit against the company, alleging that the recent dismissal of more than 250 employees without notice or compensation is a violation of the WARN, Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act.
In the process, the argument is that the 275 dismissed Telltale employees did not receive any notice, in addition to not winning any type of financial compensation from the company.
The lawsuit asks for “an amount equal to the sum of all impaired employees”: unpaid wages, commissions, bonuses, accumulated vacation payment, accumulated vacation payment, social security contributions and 401 thousand and other ERISA benefits, for sixty days after the termination of the member official “. Interest, attorneys’ fees and “any other additional relief that this Court deems fair and appropriate” are also required.
Telltale Games did not comment on the case.
