The fan project may still be in its infancy, but it already has a special vibe.
For the time being, fans will have to wait patiently for STALKER 2, which has already been announced by GSC Game World, but there is quite a bit to know about the project at the moment. But until the release, there’s still plenty of time to play through the previous episodes, and we might as well try the first part in a revamped form once.
Ivan Sorce was determined to repack STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl under Unreal Engine 4, which would be a particularly big improvement in the visuals of the 2007 game. We wouldn’t be able to guess when the ambitious fan project could be completed, but we plan to get it as a completely separate program, so in principle you won’t need the base game to run it. Hopefully GSC Game World won’t have a problem with that either. Recently, a fresh video about the fan remake has arrived, which already conveys the not-so-friendly atmosphere of the original game quite well.
What do you say to that?
