The more we learn about Sucker Punch’s next PlayStation 4-exclusive game, the more we look forward to the release. Recently, we were not only able to look into the gameplay of Ghost of Tsushima for 18 minutes, but we also collected five curiosities, and our interview with game director Nate Fox revealed even more details.

This time, however, it wasn’t him but Jason Connell, the creative director of Ghost of Tsushima, who also told us about the omission of the karma system, told USGamer that we could safely love the protagonist, Jin Sakai’s most loyal companion, because nothing was wrong with him. Connell assured everyone that our in-game horse wouldn’t die – though he might be scared enough to run away, and maybe we wouldn’t be able to bring him back in the blink of an eye, but no one would kill him in battle. Animal lovers can rest assured that after Geralt of Rivia, they can know Jin pa (j) ‘s safety. And not just him.

According to Connell, the animals play a helping role in the game, they lead there to the hidden altars so we won’t have a chance to hunt them down. Of course, there will still be plenty to do during the Ghost of Tsushima walkthrough, and at least PETA has no reason to boycott.
