Perhaps many users decide to renew their mobile with some of the four iPhone 12 models, by the time they are available. But meanwhile, a good part of the followers of these devices continue acquiring the iPhone 11, to the point of consolidating them as the best sellers.
According to a report from Counterpoint, iPhones dominate America’s top 10 best-selling smartphones during the first week of September. At least five mobile models with the bitten apple logo occupy a place on the list published this week.
IPhones dominate US sales
The dates cover smartphone purchases between August 31 and September 5. The first three places are occupied by the most current iPhones. The iPhone 11, 11 Pro Max and the iPhone SE 2020 continue to post strong smartphone sales in the United States. But, also its iPhone XR and iPhone 11 Pro models are in fifth and sixth place.
The results show that Apple has established itself as the leader in mobile device options in the United States, thanks to its premium alternatives and more accessible models such as the iPhone SE, compared to the offer of other brands.
Samsung’s Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G, Galaxy Note 20 5G, and Galaxy S20 5G rank fourth, eighth, and ninth respectively. Samsung’s Note20 continues to have strong sales, and the cheaper Galaxy S20 model has also done well.
The data shared in the report have been surprising considering the looming launch of the iPhone 12, of which almost everything is already known, except the final date on which it will be available. Although the firm’s most reliable sources insist it could be presented at an event on October 13.
