Nintendo released the first trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 in the summer of 2019, but the company has not released any new information about the game since then. However, Twitch streamer Tyler McVicker claims to be in possession of new information about the game and we can take him somewhat seriously, as he previously correctly predicted the arrival of the now-released HalfLife: Alyx.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2

According to McVicker, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 will be more linear than the first part and will also bring back several features from older Zelda games.

“Unlike the first part, the game will be linear in the beginning. Canonically, Link already knows Hyrule, so there is no point in climbing the towers again. Instead, the developers have filled the world with a miasmic version of Ganon, and until the infection has stopped at the sites, it is impossible to explore the entire world, ”said MicVicker.

Since players are not given the same freedom, it seems that locations will be more extensive than in the first part. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 may also include dungeons.

“In this respect, the locations are much more detailed than in the original. McVicker is at least referring to the appearance of dungeons, strongly inspired by a game that knows a lot about spreading dungeons across the open world. The leaker also added that apparently the game’s world is not only inspired by Red Dead Redemption 2, but also by another unknown game. ”

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is an exclusive game for Nintendo Switch. It is still unknown when the game will be released.
