The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 | Development taking longer than expected, suggests rumor

The development of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 it’s supposed to be taking longer than anticipated and the sequel is unlikely to be released this year.

In November last year, a rumor was reported by journalist Spieltimes and Nintendo, Sabi, who said that the Breath of the Wild sequel is planned for a 2020 release. He also added, however, that Zelda titles are often postponed, and it appears that Breath of the Wild 2 will not be the exception.

The source has returned to Twitter about the Zelda sequel on the Switch and apparently will not be released this year due to its development taking longer than originally planned.

Botw2 took longer than expected during e3 2019, so it doesn’t look like this year’s end of year release, which adds more credibility to the main title I was referring to in a tweet the other day.

According to Sabi, this “delay” makes a rumor related to the launch of another great title more credible. Which title Sabi is referring to exactly, is unknown at this point.
