In addition to the new deployment of the legendary soldier of the Modern Warfare sub-series, perhaps the mystery of the atomic bomb in one of Warzone’s bunkers is also solved.

The current season will soon spin in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, so it’s pretty clear that the release of Season 4 is also around our necks. The development team has started beating the tamtam around the new content, and it looks like the biggest novelty will definitely be related to the audience favorite John Price.

Infinity Ward has confirmed that the fourth season will start on June 3rd, which will bring a host of new features to players as before. Earlier rumors have proved true, as Price, who has always been central to the Modern Warfare series, is likely to become a playable character in multiplayer matches, fulfilling an old desire of the CoD community. It is also the focus of the short preview that the team posted on Twitter:

This story is far from over.

In addition, Warzone matches will be boosted by some new elements, as the shroud of a previously speculative nuclear charge may fall off. This is indicated by the fact that the growing threat of a possible nuclear war is mentioned several times in the preliminary. Of course, all of this is just a taste for the time being, and with Season 4 coming out next Wednesday, there’s still a good chance a lot of info will come to light.
