The new season of Rainbow Six: Siege has arrived, Operation Void Edge begins

In addition to two new characters and a reworked Oregon track, the latest content pack also has several little things in store.

While half the world is now pushing the new free Call of Duty, let’s not forget that Rainbow Six: Siege also had a great day yesterday. The first season of Year 5 has started, and with it the new DLC, Operation Void Edge. The new package came with a huge update that brought countless bug fixes and balance changes, plus a Tomb Raider-style look for Ash.

Two new Void Edge operators, Iana and Oryx, have also become available and can be unlocked by anyone in exchange for real or in-game money. The former is an offensive character who can confuse opponents with remotely controlled holograms, and the latter is a defender who can push opponents or break through barricades while running – this certainly doesn’t seem like a painless solution.
