The second beta of macOS Big Sur 11.1 is now available
Apple this afternoon launched the macOS Big Sur 11.1 second beta For developers, it will become the first major update to the system after its initial release. We had not heard from this beta for three weeks after the release of stable version 11.0.1.
If you are a programmer who already had the previous beta installed, you only need to open System Preferences on your Mac and update the system as if you had a stable version installed. Apart from the classic stability and security improvements, Apple does not specify anything else about this update.
A possible catwalk for news next Tuesday
It was very recently that we just learned that next Tuesday we could have news according to reliable sources from MacRumors, so we can also think that there are hidden news in this new version of macOS Big Sur. It will be a question of seeing if more news is hidden in its source code, as it already happened in the beta of iOS 14.3.
As the name suggests, this beta is intended for developers and not for the general user. Therefore, we do not recommend that you install it unless you are completely sure of what you are doing and at your own risk. The best, as always, is to wait for the stable version.
