The sixth beta of macOS Big Sur for developers arrives
Apple just released the sixth beta version of MacOS Big Sur. This update, although with some delay according to the planned schedule, comes with all the news of the previous version, more improvements in performance and fixes of several errors.
Sixth beta, picking up the pace to catch up with iOS
At the beginning of the beta cycle that takes place every summer, the different versions of iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS and macOS came out at the same time. Now, after several versions in which the Mac operating system has been delayed for a few days the accumulated lag is considerable. Let’s remember that it was on August 19 when we saw the last update of MacOS Big Sur.
Like other years, it is possible that the final launch of macOS Big Sur will be delayed compared to the launch of iOS, iPadOS, watchOS and tvOS, as its development already gives us clues. In the field of novelties, At this point, no big changes are expected but bug fixes and small improvements in the news that Big Sur will bring.
A somewhat slower development than in iOS but with great stability.
Hopefully, overall system stability, as well as some visuals, will improve on all supported computers. It should be remembered that, although we can install these versions by following the steps that we exposed a few weeks ago, and although these beta versions are among the most stable that have been seen in time, are still development versions containing bugs.
If we are already within the beta cycle, we will find the update in System Preferences as an OTA update. During the first hours, Apple servers can receive more demand than usual, so the waiting time can be lengthened. In SamaGame we are already updating our Macs and we will update the article if news appears.
