A longer presentation tells the details of Sackboy’s new adventure.

Building on the hero of LittleBigPlanet games, Sackboy: Big Adventure will be one of the opening titles on PlayStation 5. Since LittleBigPlanet has been the defining franchise of the last decade, you’ll certainly get plenty of it in the first few days, but before you get to your wallet, it’s worth checking out what it’s different from an LBP and what packages it will be available for.

Sackboy designer Ned Waterhouse talks about the new trailer, which gives a 3-minute insight into the gameplay. The developer explains how the entire movement of the character has been reworked for a traditional platformer and shows a couple of tracks along with how the power-ups on them work.

The two special editions of the game will be filled with plenty of extras. The Special Edition features a Sackboy plush (tiger pee), an art album in physical and digital form, a music collection, four Sackboy looks (Detroit: Become Human – Connor, Ghost of Tsushima – Jin, Days Gone – Deacon, and Death Stranding – Sam Porter Bridges), four Sackboy Emote and 20 Sackboy avatars. Digital Deluxe only includes digital content.

Sackboy: Big Adventure is expected to be released on November 19, and will be released for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
