The weather affects your Pokémon

What are the effects of the weather effects in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX?

These weather effects are available in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX:

  • Hail: Pokémon that do not belong to the ice type lose 5 HP every ten turns, nor do the HP regenerate by themselves. The Blizzard attack is 100 percent accurate and the solar beam attack requires another round to recharge. Similarly, “Dawn” and “Moonlight” heal less HP than usual.
  • Clear: The normal weather in the game that prevails most of the time. It has no special effects other than the HP regenerating on its own.
  • Rain: Increases the effectiveness of water attacks by 50 percent, while fire attacks are weakened by 50 percent. “Solar Beam” takes another round to recharge, “Dawn” and “Moonlight” heal less HP. In addition, “Donner” is 100 percent accurate. In addition, the damp soil is in the “defused” state. Attacks such as “explosion” as well as booby and bomb traps have no effect, plosive seeds cannot be used.
  • Sandstorm: Pokémon that are not of the ground, rock, or steel types lose 5 HP every tenth turn. The Special Defense of Rock Pokémon increases by 50 percent. “Solar Beam” takes another round to recharge, “Dawn” and “Moonlight” heal less HP.
  • Sunny: Increases the effectiveness of fire attacks by 50 percent, while water attacks are weakened by 50 percent. “Solar Beam” doesn’t need a round to recharge, “Dawn” and “Moonlight” heal more HP than usual. In addition, the accuracy of “Donner” is reduced. Just like the weather, it protects against the “frozen” state.

Sunny weather also has its effects.
