Data miners found very interesting clues in the recently leaked demo.
It already seems certain that next spring we will only be able to play on PlayStation 4 with the upgraded version of Final Fantasy VII, but it’s still a mystery on which platforms Square Enix’s work will be available after the expiration of the exclusivity. Meanwhile, some grabbed the demo for the remake prematurely, and of course there were those who looked in behind the scenes even now.
The always-eyed data miners have once again become aware of important little things, as they claim to have come across a lot of things in their demo files that point to a possible PC port. For example, the remaining code that mentions AMD, Nvidia, and higher resolutions.
This is obviously not rock solid evidence yet, but since you don’t really know which platforms the remake will appear on after PlayStation 4, it’s smoothly in the deck that we can enjoy the renewed adventure of Clouds on PC next year as well.
Yeah already discussed this yesterday in Discord with others that there are many “many” signs inside the Demo that we will see a future PC Port sooner or later. There is PC Code still left inside, and it mentions various higher Resolutions together with some NVIDIA and AMD stuff.
