Will Poulter left the project, but the composition of the staff is beginning to change.

We also recently reported that Will Poulter is no longer working on Amazon’s ambitious series, but now there is more news about the Amazon The Lord of the Rings series just about a new character.

According to Variety, Morfydd Clark (The Dark Materials of the Lord, Pride and Prejudice, and the Zombies) will be one of the protagonists of the series, and it will be the young Galadriel – to be seen in the movies – although Cate Blanchett played the elf queen Lothlórien. In principle, the news came from a certain source, but Amazon specifically refused to respond when magazine officials asked the company about the topic, so we’ll have sure information when the official announcements arrive. In any case, according to rumors so far, Morfydd Clark has now joined names such as Markella Kavenagh (Romper Stomper, Picnic at Hanging Rock), Joseph Mawle (Battle of the Thrones, Bird Song) and Maxim Baldry (Skins, Rome).

All we know about the series itself is that it takes place in the Second Age of Middle-earth, long before the events of the movies.
