Nintendo’s latest edition of Direct was jam-packed with all sorts of things. If it was too late for you, here’s an overview of all the new announcements and updates for you.

For example, Luigi’s Mansion 3 was announced right at the beginning, while the first Luigi’s Mansion will come to the 3DS in October with two-player co-op mode.

Nintendo Switch Online members will be able to buy wireless NES controllers exclusively for the Switch when the service starts on September 19th. There was nothing new about the service itself.

Meanwhile, the company confirmed Yoshi’s Crafted World as the name for the next Yoshi game, which will be released in spring 2019.

Also in 2019, an Animal Crossing will be released for the Switch, while Isabelle is a fighter in Smash Bros Ultimate.

The other news:

  • Kirby and the extra magical yarn will be released for the 3DS in 2019. All levels of the Wii version as well as new functions are included.
  • An overview trailer shows what to expect in the next free updates for Splatoon 2.
  • Mario Tennis Aces will receive new characters like Birdo, Shy Guy, Parakoopa and Mutant-Tyranha until June 2019. As part of an update, a co-op challenge mode will be released on September 19th.
  • On September 18, the Capcom Beat’em Up Bundle will be available in the eShop for the Switch. This gives you classics such as Final Fight or Knights of the Round, and Armored Warriors and Battle Circuit are available on console for the first time.
  • New Super Mario Bros U is coming to Switch on January 11th. A total of 164 levels are included, including New Super Luigi U.
  • Katamari Damacy will roll into the Switch eShop in winter 2018.
  • Diablo 3’s Eternal Collection will be available for Switch on November 2nd. All amiibo are compatible with it.
  • Game Freak has announced Town (working title), a new role-playing game that will be released for Switch in 2019.
  • In Daemon X Machina, up to four players can compete against huge bosses in online co-op mode.
  • When Civilization launches for Switch on November 16th, it will include an exclusive four-player local mode.
  • Starlink: Battle for Atlas features exclusive missions with Peppy, Falco and Slippy Fox on the Switch.
  • Final Fantasy is coming to the Switch. Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age, Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 15: Pocket Edition HD, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered, Final Fantasy 9, Final Fantasy 10 / 10-2 HD Remaster, World of Final Fantasy Maxima and Chocobo’s Mystery were announced Dungeon.
  • An Ultimate Edition of Super Smash Bros Ultimate will be released on November 16th. It contains a dock and Joy-Cons in the Smash Bros look as well as a download code for the game, with which you can play the game from December 7th.
  • Cities Skylines is available now for the Switch.
  • Asmodee Digital brings digital versions of board games such as Catan, Carcassonne, Pandemic and Munchkin to the switch.
  • Mario Luigi: Bowser’s Adventure + Bowser Jr.’s Journey will be available for 3DS on January 25, 2019.
