WhatsApp’s dark mode will also come to the web and desktop app
WhatsApp’s dark mode is one of the most desired functions by all users and fortunately there is very little left for its official launch. The WhatsApp public beta already includes this novelty and in the next few days it should be officially launched on the App Store.
But this is not going to be the only place this popular mode arrives, as reported by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is also working on bringing this dark mode to its desktop application and to WhatsApp Web. The first images of this new interface have already been leaked and its launch could be near.
Dark mode for everyone
It makes all the sense in the world for WhatsApp to update all its platforms to dark mode, so both WhatsApp Web and desktop applications will be supported. WABetaInfo was able to get images of what this dark mode would look like in the WhatsApp application available for macOS.
At the moment this dark theme does not have a button to be configured, it may be that as with the dark mode of WhatsApp for iOS, it is activated automatically when the dark mode of the system is activated. We still do not know much although it is most likely that its launch is scheduled at the same time, that is, that the dark mode Officially available on iOS, Android, Desktop, and Web the same day after an update.
If this is so, there is still work to be done since in the images filtered by WABetaInfo we see some bugs, for example with emojis.
