Will the NBA 2K21 load faster on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X? Winner announced

While the difference between the two new consoles is minimal, it’s still clear which SSD is coping more easily with the NBA 2K21.

Both the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 build massively on the SSDs lurking in the new consoles, allowing them to load our new games so quickly that console gamers haven’t really been able to experience them. This is no different in the case of NBA 2K21, the game itself and the individual matches start in a matter of seconds. But will the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 be the winners if we compare charging times?

THE On the GamingWithOva YouTube channel, they measured how quickly the NBA 2K21 could load a match on Xbox Series X and PS5 in the order and manner, as well as how quickly the game could stand up from scratch. Well, in both cases, the new Xbox came out victorious from the race, but we can’t stress that the difference between the two next-gen machines is negligible.

On PS5 it takes 3,237 seconds to start a match in the game, while on Series X it is 2,953. Also for the launch of the NBA 2K21, the Xbox won: 13,197 seconds on Series X, compared to 14,097 on PlayStation 5.

Let’s just say that anyone who isn’t used to playing with a stopwatch in their hand will notice quite a bit of all of this.
