Get ready to face the ancient dangers of Azeroth! Blizzard revealed on Tuesday (14) that the World of Warcraft Classic will win a closed Beta phase starting this Wednesday (15) and final launch on August 27.

But beware: to be eligible for testing, players must log into their Battle.net account and activate the game between their Beta preferences.

In addition, the game will also receive a collector’s edition of 15 years of World of Warcraft with an exclusive golden statue featuring none other than Ragnaros, one of the most dangerous bosses players have faced in their pilgrimages. The version will include exclusive gear, a commemorative mousepad, a box and an exclusive mount depending on your faction within the game.

The anniversary edition will be launched on October 8 and interested parties will be able to pre-purchase on the official Blizzard website.

Still in the birthday party vibe, the company also revealed that some rewards will be distributed to players to celebrate 15 years of World of Warcraft. For a limited time, those who log into their accounts in the regular game will receive an Onyxia pet and the exclusive Worldbreaker mount.

The original version of the famous MMORPG was announced in 2017 as a way for players to redeem the original World of Warcraft experience as well as at launch. And all of this within the same subscription plan as the normal game.
