We’ve already spent a few hours screwing up star wars battlefront. It’s not easy to start from scratch when it comes to intergalactic battles. That’s why the game developers have given us a few tips through the Official Playstation Blog. They are divided between the maneuvers with weapons, with vehicles and miscellaneous.
Disintegrators or blasters and weapons
“Keep control of the shot with your blaster so you can handle both heat and range.”
“With each freezing discharge, the degree of demand is greater. When you fall, die, or don’t activate the freezing shock, the difficulty of the level goes down again.”
”The ion shot makes your blaster more powerful against vehicles but weaker against troops during the period it is activated.”
Star Cards and upgrades
“The Ion Grenade is a great way to get rid of pesky droids and turrets.”
”The pulse cannon increases the damage it deals the more charge it has. When fully charged it is capable of taking down a person with a single shot.”
“Combine the jump pack with an explosive weapon like the Bowcaster to rain down shots from above.”
”The smoke grenade not only reduces vision, but also prevents you from being shot at by droids and turrets.”
”Energy shields block energy blasts but not solid projectiles like grenades, rockets, and the Cycler rifle.”
“If you have an upgrade you don’t want, you can press the ‘square’ button in front of it to change it to a new one.”
“The Cycler Rifle and Pulse Cannon have to be fired while aiming down the scope to maximize their effectiveness.”
“The smart rocket fires like a normal rocket launcher, but the rocket will lock on and track if it’s fired in the right direction.”

“If you take damage while trying to summon a vehicle, your progress will roll back to where you started.”
“Evasion maneuvers will free you from missiles that have targeted you.”
“Carrying a low speed increases the damage your weapons deal while higher speeds weaken the power of the A-wing, X-wing TIE fighter, TIE interceptor, Slave I, and Millennium Falcon weapons.”
“Hold down the left trigger to activate the starfighters target tracking system. This will help you take your shots.”
Miscellany
“A feature (Trait) will give you a passive bonus and it will level up when you kill many enemies in a row. When you die, the Trait will level down again.”
“Customize your hand of Star Cards in Hero Hunt and Heroes vs Villains respectively. Not even a Jedi can prevent an explosion.”
“Droids are not only great for attacking the enemy team, they also have a pulse scanner that reveals the position of enemies to your entire team.”
“In normal battles, press the ‘up’ button to have your AI allies search and capture and the ‘right’ button to follow the player.”
”AT-STs have a weak spot on their back, try to aim for this spot when attacking one and defend it when driving it.”
