Ahsoka Tano will have her own series on Disney + with Rosario Dawson as protagonist
One of the most talked about aspects of the second season of ‘The Mandalorian’ has been the debut in real image of Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker’s former Padawan who was born as an animated character several years ago, but whose popularity has exploded after being played by Rosario Dawson. Many have already asked for a spin-off dedicated to her after the premiere of ‘La jedi’ and now Disney has confirmed that it is already underway.
The series for Disney + will be located on the same timeline as ‘The Mandalorian’, so it is not convenient to rule out a possible crossover between the two in a while. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if the bounty hunter played by Pedro Pascal be dropped at the start of ‘Ahsoka’. Not that the series is going to need that extra push, but it never hurts to have it.
Unfortunately, Disney has not announced anything else about the series in a talk with investors that is being very moved. It all started by announcing that Disney will premiere 20 Marvel and Star Wars series – actually 10 from each franchise – over the next few years and then we learn of the bombshell that Hayden Christensen is going to bring Darth Vader back to life in ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’.
What we do have is that pretty series logo from Disney +, but we will have to be attentive to more details about a work that promises to further elevate the character within the franchise created by George Lucas in 1977.
