All about the Hidden Ones, the first DLC of Assassin’s Creed: Origins.
Ubisoft today announced that “The Hidden Ones,” the first downloadable content (DLC) for Assassin’s Believe Origins, will be launched on January 23, 2018 on all platforms. Ubisoft has also revealed the release dates of upcoming post-launch content for Assassin’s Believe Origins, including the content of the Season Pass and other free additional content for all players. Players will be able to continue their journey through the Old Egypt with a wide variety of content, including several hours of new story expansions and side missions, temporary events and customizable elements.
DLC 1 – The Hidden Ones: The storyline for this expansion builds on The Brotherhood’s growth process, transporting players four years after the events of Assassin’s Creed Origins, at which point they will face a Roman occupation force in a new region of the world of game, the Sinai. This expansion will increase the level cap to 45, allowing players to continue to upgrade and customize their character. Players will have access to four new Legendary weapons, a new outfit, two new mounts, and a host of new weapons, plus two new tiers for all created items in inventory. The DLC “The Hidden Ones” will be available to all users with the Season Pass, although it can also be purchased separately at a price of € 9.99 starting on January 23, 2018.
Assassin’s Creed: Ancient Egypt Discovery Tour: This new educational mode of the game allows anyone, from gamers to history enthusiasts and also non-players, to roam freely through the beautiful world of Ancient Egypt to learn more about its history and aspects of daily life, Guided tours selected by a team of historians and Egyptologists. Everyone will be able to discover and explore a world without conflicts, without any kind of time pressure or the game itself, in which the plot and the missions are deactivated, and the world of Ancient Egypt becomes a true living museum, without confrontations. .
Discovery Tour will be available as a free update to all players who have purchased Assassin’s Creed Origins, although it can also be purchased separately at a price of € 19.99 on Uplay and Steam for Windows PC on February 20, 2018.
DLC 2 – The Curse of the Pharaohs: This new expansion offers players an entirely new storyline to immerse themselves in as they travel to Thebes to investigate an ancient curse that is ravaging the region. The Curse of the Pharaohs focuses on Egyptian mythology, pitting players against famous Egyptian pharaohs and beasts, while investigating the cause of the curse that has brought dead pharaohs back to life. This new content will increase the level cap to 55 and give players access to new equipment and outfits, including rare and legendary weapons, all based on classical Egyptian mythology. The DLC “The Curse of the Pharaohs” will be available to Season Pass users, although it can also be purchased separately, at a price of € 19.99, starting on March 6, 2018.
The Season Pass is included in the “Assassin’s Creed Origins Gold Edition”, but can also be purchased separately at a price of € 39.99.
Also available to all Assassin’s Creed Origins players will be a wide variety of free content, including Trials of the Gods and a new side quest, “Incoming Threat,” in which players must lead the defense of a raid on budding and discover where it came from.
