With the advancement of technology, making payments today can be very simple, in many cases it is enough to have a smartphone with technology compatible with the new machines on the market.
Android Pay payment system no longer works on unlocked bootloader devices, something that many people did not like.
There are several ways to make payment at the end of your purchase, one of the most recent methods is to use the smartphone and NFC technology, all the user needs to do is touch the phone to the machine and authorize the payment.
Of course, with the new method, payment is safer for consumers and very simple and fast for both you and the merchant.
To keep everything safe and to lessen the chances of being hacked or that anyone can cheat the payment system itself, Android Pay does not work on rooted devices, so many people had to unroot to be able to use the payment system. fast.
Root allows you to make any changes to the system, if you want you can put a new bootanimation, increase or decrease the processor speed and practically everything you need.
By allowing so many modifications, root is also a weak point, with it released, malicious applications can even have full control of the system without the user knowing, so no payment system works with it.
But now Google takes a bigger step for the Android Pay system to become even more secure, now the payment can only be made on devices with a locked bootloader.
The bootloader released allows you to make several modifications, including using a custom recovery that allows you to install new systems, install apps in the form of a zip, root and much more.
As we can see, the bootloader also allows you to do dangerous actions that can trick the system, so Android Pay from now on will only work with the bootloader locked.
Unfortunately for those who already used Android Pay and had the bootloader unlocked, the news couldn’t be worse, only Nexus devices can lock and unlock the bootloader at any time, manufacturers’ smartphones only unlock the bootloader, so if it’s unlocked, the way will be to buy a new device to continue using Android Pay normally.
