Console and PC gamers have long forgotten the excellent arcade world of Star Wars recreated with the LEGO constructor. The turn of mobile platforms has only just arrived. The developers did not dare to split the finished game into two sets of episodes again and threw the entire Star Wars story into a single game, dubbed LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. The game will start with the first episode and conclude with the sixth.
The game is free to download, but it really isn’t. The first episode is available in its entirety so that you know the characteristics of the project. The Phantom Menace. All the others will have to be purchased for 99 rubles each or the entire set for 479 rubles. The plot of LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga doesn’t make sense to repeat itself, since it completely replicates the movies with a certain layer of non-seriousness on everything that happens. But it is understandable, since the game is based on a childish constructor.
Each episode is a set of levels that reproduce the events of a similar movie. Each level has between two and four fully playable characters at our disposal. You can only control one, and switch to the others when necessary. By the way, this need arises quite often, because most of the heroes of the fantastic saga have unique abilities. Only the Jedi have one thing in common: the ability to use the force. However, the levels are designed in such a way that you won’t be able to get all the secrets during the first run. Certain locations will require special characters, which will become available after completing the story in free play mode.
Character actions can be controlled in two ways: by tapping on specific locations for the action and by using virtual keys. Based on the experience of another game in the LEGO universe, The Lord of the RingsThe first option is completely awkward, so it is better to switch to the joystick immediately. The player-controlled characters can run, jump, use their unique abilities, and attack. A different key is used to switch between team members.
The game mode does not change. In addition to fighting enemies and advancing through intricate levels, players will have to solve uncomplicated puzzles that require not so much ingenuity as attention. The collection of coins is also encouraged, which allow you to earn the title of true Jedi. It is impossible to die in the game. A character that is killed revives immediately, only points that are slightly reduced are resented.
Compared to the aforementioned LEGO The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars has a more attractive graphic aspect, although both games use the same engine. Probably the fewest number of different forest landscapes, which looked just awful, played their part. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga isn’t a role model either, but the game has migrated from previous platforms unchanged. The music uses songs from the movies as an accompaniment, so there are no complaints about this component. However, Star Wars has not received Russification. There are six languages to choose from without Russian.
LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga is a good quality arcade game capable of offering players several hours of immersion in the world of Star Wars, characteristic humor and addictive gameplay. The game has hardly changed from the original version for PC and consoles, so anyone who has been indifferent to the game can dive back into it. For everyone else, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga is simply a worthwhile Star Wars game that can be gifted to kids and isn’t embarrassing to complete on your own.
