After the well-known arrival of Office for the iPad, which has allowed it to occupy the top positions in almost all the App Stores in the world, Apple has reacted and has just released new versions of all the apps in its iWork suite (Pages, Numbers and Keynote).

It has been a coordinated update on all platforms, implemented in the last few hours, and is already effective on Mac, iCloud and iOS. On iPad you can already download the new versions from a few minutes ago. The novelties are numerous, giving an idea that Apple wants to face the novelty effect caused by Office. Among them, the new “read-only” mode, included in the three apps, and which allows you to share files with third parties so that they can consult them without editing them, is striking. Below you can see a complete list with all the news of each one of them.

iWork apps became free, along with iMovie and iPhoto, on all iOS 7 devices purchased after September 1, 2013, when Apple introduced the iCloud version of this suite. If your device is older and you don’t plan to buy a new one soon, in order to use them you will have to buy each one for €8.99.
