With the arrival of the official version of iOS and iPadOS 13.4.1 Apple solves some of the problems that users had after the release of iOS 13.4. Finally, and although it is not mentioned in the Apple release notes, it seems that this update could also include a fix for a VPN vulnerability. Some users of iOS 13.3.1 and later have reported that the new version of the software prevents VPNs from encrypting traffic.

How to install iOS 13.4.1 update?

Updates to iOS and ‌‌iPadOS‌‌ 13.4.1 are available on all supported devices. The iPhones that will be able to access the new version of the operating system are: iPhone 11, Pro and Pro Max; XR, XS and XS Max; iPhoneX; iPhone 8, 7 and their Plus versions; 6s and 6s Plus; and iPhone SE.

As far as iPad is concerned, the supported devices are: 3rd Gen 12.9-inch IPad Pro, 1st and 2nd Gen 12.9-inch IPad Pro, 10.5-inch and 9.7-inch IPad Pro. In addition, they will be able to access the version of iPadOS 13.4.1: iPad Air 3rd Gen, iPad Air 2, iPad 6th Gen and 5th Gen; iPad Mini 5th Gen, iPad Mini 4, and iPod touch 7th Gen.

To access the updates, it is enough to verify that the device has a battery, or connect it to the power, and then go to Settings -> General -> Software update.

This update comes two weeks after the release of iOS and iPadOS 13.4 where Apple introduced iCloud Folder Sharing to make file sharing much easier. On the other hand, the company also improved the mail toolbar, included trackpad compatibility for iPad; and much more.

Let’s remember that the Cupertino company is also working on the beta version for developers of iOS 13.4.5.
