ARMS ‘Min Min delivers cakes left and right in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Min min, the queen of fried noodle from the fighting game ARMS for Nintendo Switch, keeps her elasticity and swagger intact in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, also for Nintendo Switch.

In a video posted today, Masahiro Sakurai, the director of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, showed for the first time the character of ARMS, who will jump to the battlefield on June 30th as a new downloadable fighter. Sakurai had a taste of how devastating punches can be from Min min and took the opportunity to reveal the new stage, the pier stadium, as well as 18 ARMS music tracks. All this content will be available for sale at Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for Nintendo Switch later this month.

This new content will be available to those players who have purchased the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 2, or the Challenger Pack 6 separately for € 5.99 on Nintendo eShop. By purchasing the Fighters Pass Vol. 2 from Nintendo eShop for € 29.99, players will have access to Min min and five more unannounced Applicant Packs later as they become available. Each set includes a new fighter, a stage, and various music tracks.

Min min is the 81st video game character included as a controllable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, whose roster represents one of the greatest crossovers between video game characters in history.

From her humble beginnings as a fried noodle-loving employee at “Mintendo Noodles” to her overwhelming participation in the ARMS Grand Prix, Min Min has been able to stretch the gum to make a name for herself. She is an inimitable fighter, so, how could it be otherwise, her fighting style in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate it is also unique. Each of its extendable arms – the igniokram, the megawatt, and the laser beam dragon – can be individually controlled and used with a multitude of resources.

Min min brings with it the dock stadium, a stage provided with several interactive elements that ARMS players will recognize instantly, such as the elastic platforms that can be used to attack the opponent. When launching an opponent against one of the stage decks, they will bounce when hitting it. The friendly ARMS drones will also make an appearance to transport objects to the stage. Of course, it is advisable to approach them with caution if you intend to attack them so that they release the merchandise!

In addition to the new downloadable fighter, on June 30 they will also go on sale new costumes for Mii fighters: Ninjara, from ARMS, Heihachi, from Tekken, Mar and Tina from the Splatoon series, and Vault Boy, from the Fallout series.

Finally, two fighters from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate they will have their own figure amiibo, on sale in stores below: Joker, the famous masked thief, and the hero, the Luminary exterminator of slimes.

Also available is the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 1 for € 24.99 on Nintendo eShop, which gives access to the first five Applicant Packs that were previously released. Joker, the Hero, Banjo and Kazooie, Terry Bogard and Byleth are available as downloadable fighters, and can be purchased individually for € 5.99 on the Nintendo eShop.
