Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered will have several graphical improvements and Ubisoft has finely revealed what to expect from this new version.
As shared by the publisher, when Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered hits stores, you’ll be able to enjoy this game at a higher resolution than the original versions.
On PS3 and Xbox 360, the game ran at native 1280×720 and its performance was targeting 30fps, but it was highly unstable and there were dips that could take you down to 20fps.
On PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered will run at 1080p, while on Xbox One X, PC and PlayStation 4, you can choose to play at 4K or 1080p. All compatible platforms will be able to run the game with HDR enabled.
Ubisoft doesn’t share performance information, but says you’ll be able to enjoy several graphical improvements.
The publisher talks about “higher resolution textures, a new lighting rendering system and several other graphical improvements”.
“In addition, based on player feedback, game mechanics have also been improved, various features have been improved or fine-tuned.”
In Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered, you’ll be able to count on new character models, new lighting system whose rendering is based on physics, denser crowds and even improvements in environments and sound effects.
Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered will arrive in March 2019 and is part of the Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey Season Pass, but will also be sold separately.
This Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered also includes the Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered game, the three episodes of the additional campaign called Tyranny of King Washington, the Hidden Secrets Pack and the Benedict Arnold Missions.
