Assetto Corsa Competizione is now available for PS5 and XSX/S.
The global video game publisher 505 Games and the developer KUNOS Simulations proudly announce the launch of the flagship racing game, Assetto Corsa Competition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
As the official game of GT World Challenge, Assetto Corsa Competizione sets a gold standard in console racing simulators, allowing players to compete on 11 GT3 championship tracks, each carefully reproduced using Laser-Scan technology with unrivaled realism. KUNOS Simulazioni’s dedication to authenticity has been applied to every aspect of the game, encompassing everything from photorealistic weather conditions, dynamic night racing, motion capture animation, and multi-channel audio sampling.
Assetto Corsa Competizione’s debut on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S also includes the improved visual quality of each system, delivering an unrivaled 4K/60FPS GT3 experience unlike anything seen before.
In addition to the existing vehicle roster, drivers can also master the recently launched BMW M4 GT3, bringing the number of licensed cars to 25. Each vehicle features fully adjustable settings, over 60 additional 2021 season cosmetics and more. These unique creations can be used in single and multiplayer modes such as Sprint, Endurance and the 24 Hours of Spa race, while Assetto Corsa Competizione’s immersive solo experience offers Career, Championship and Free Play modes.
Competitive drivers can test their mettle against up to 30 players thanks to the increased potential of the new generation, while the multiplayer experience can be fully tailored thanks to the fair game ranking system (rewarding the best drivers!), strong matchmaking, regular challenges, real-time online leaderboards. Private multiplayer matches will also allow players to compete with friends. Assetto Corsa Competizione is also compatible with a wide range of hardware, from controllers to professional steering wheels to further add physical realism to the experience.
Assetto Corsa Competition is available today worldwide for PlayStation 5 and Xbox One X|S in digital format and in 2 days, this Thursday, the physical version arrives. The game will retail for €39.99 while fans who already own the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One can upgrade for free.
