The performance has improved by no less than 50%. GeForce RTX 2080 Ti gamers are now able to achieve 60+ FPS at 1440p resolution with DXR Raytraced Reflections at Medium quality. GeForce RTX 2070 gamers can enjoy this at 1080p resolution. Watch NVIDIA’s video on GeForce.com to learn more about the DXR performance improvements in Battlefield V.
New War Story: The Last Tiger
The latest War Story in Battlefield V lets the player control one of the most feared tanks of World War II: the Tiger I. Step into the shoes of a German commander leading his troops as the Twelfth US Army Group puts pressure on the German border. Similar to all War Stories in the game, here a story is told from an unexpected angle. Think of a combination of Das Boot and Black Hawk Down to get an idea of the tone and action DICE puts down in this War Story.
New map: Panzerstorm
This brand new map is an arena focused on tanks. Players roll over hills, potholes and causeways with the unprecedented power of these armored vehicles, leaving a trail of destruction across the countryside. The map takes the players to the place where the German mechanical war machines entered Belgium, only to encounter the defenses of the Allies.
Practice range
DICE introduces the highly anticipated Practice Range in Overture. Here players can get to know different weapons and vehicles, including the basic weapons of each class, as well as perform bombing runs with their favorite aircraft.
More updates
In addition, Overture will add vehicle customization and new cosmetics to the game, along with updates and fixes based on community feedback. The full list of bug fixes can be found in this detailed report.
