Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 17, 2023.

At this year’s Game Awards show, Nintendo presented two world premiere trailers of games on their way to the Nintendo Switch. The first was that of Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demona new installment in the Bayonetta series starring Cereza, the young apprentice witch who will later be called Bayonetta. Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon will be released on March 17, 2023 for the Nintendo Switch.

In the second trailer, the focus was on the Expansion Pass for Fire Emblem Engagethe upcoming paid DLC for the upcoming new installment in the strategy RPG series. Fire Emblem Engage will be released on January 20, 2023 for the Nintendo Switch. Pack 1 of the Expansion Pass* will be available at launch, with the other three packs coming during 2023.

In addition to these new trailers, Nintendo also received several awards during the annual Game Awards event. So won bayonet 3 ‘Best Action Game’ while Kirby and the Forgotten World won the ‘Best Family Game’ award. Splatoon 3 won ‘Best Multiplayer’ and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom won ‘Most Anticipated Game’.

In Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon players take on the role of Cereza, a young apprentice witch. As Cereza, players embark on a journey to the Forbidden Forest to gain the powers to save her mother. In addition to its surprising and original picture-book style, this new title offers gameplay unlike any before in the Bayonetta series, where players control both Cereza and her demonic partner Cheshire. Players must explore, battle, and puzzle to push Cereza deeper and deeper into the forest.

Players who want to see more of the game won’t have to wait long, because bayonet 3 provides access to a short, playable teaser of Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon. To access this content, players will still need to purchase the Old Picture Book from Rodin’s shop, The Gates of Hell, and unlock it with three keys.

In another trailer that debuted at the Game Awards, the paid Expansion Pass for Fire Emblem Engage introduced. The first of four DLC packs will be released to coincide with the game’s launch on January 20, 2023. This pack adds several content, including Edelgard, Dimitri and Claude van Fire Emblem: Three Houses as one in-game Emblem, in addition to Tiki Van Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light like another Emblem. In Fire Emblem Engage players can summon Emblems during battle to help the heroes with higher stats and special actions. Learn more about the three other packages of the Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass will be revealed in the future, including details on Pack 4’s new story scenario.

In addition, a virtual Big Run event will be held for the first time this weekend in Splatoon 3. In this event, which begins December 10 at 2 AM and runs until December 12 at 2 AM, players must work together to defeat waves of salmonites in the Water Wonderworld stage.
