Pearl Abyss, the South Korean developer of the Black Desert franchise, officially takes over the publication of Black Desert Online in Brazil and South America starting today.
To celebrate this milestone, there will be 21 days of daily rewards, promotions in your game packs and Hot Time bonuses – which affect all aspects, such as experience, skills and even item drops; available in game.
New Adventurers from Brazil and South America can start their journeys in Black Desert Online, now managed by Pearl Abyss, through the new official website and Steam. Players who already have accounts created before the migration will be able to continue playing normally after transferring the service from RedFox Games to Pearl Abyss also through the official website.
Until September 23, all players will receive a variety of rewards, such as an exclusive Pet, special title, special furniture and a weapon exchange coupon. Once the account transfer is complete, the rewards will be delivered via the in-game Courier.
Among the activities commemorating the change in publishing the game in South America is the discount promotion on the Game Pass and on the Traveler, Explorer and Conqueror Packs. These can be purchased on the official website and on the Steam page.

Black Desert Online also announced a series of login rewards starting today (23rd) until July 20th, where special items will be given away daily. Players who log in consistently during this period will receive exclusive items over the course of 21 days, including the Tier 3 Shudad Pet, the Classic Costume Box, and on the final day, the Premium Weapon and Costume Chest.
In addition, the game will activate weekly Hot-Time events, where Adventurers will have the chance to obtain exclusive bonuses to further facilitate their evolution. Among the bonuses that will become available are Combat Experience and Skill Experience, increased item drop rate, and others. Each week the bonuses will get stronger. During this period, the game will promote several events for the community.
With this change, Pearl Abyss becomes responsible for the publishing rights of Black Desert Online in all regions around the world, adding more than 45 million players on PC, consoles and mobile platforms.
Lastly, the developer also unveiled a special video, made from clips of Adventurers around the world, to celebrate the self-publishing of Black Desert Online around the world.
