On the occasion of the first anniversary of Borderlands 3, Gearbox software is 2K today revealed their plans for the future of the game – including full support for next-gen consoles, a new skill tree for Vault Hunters, additional co-op features and more – at Gearbox’s PAX digital presentation.
Proceed in order: Borderlands 3 confirms it’s coming for both Xbox Series X that for PlayStation 5. If you already own the current version of the game on Xbox One and are playing on Xbox Series X, you will receive a free upgrade to the Series X version. In addition to 4K / 60fps resolution on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 in single player mode, the next-gen console versions of Borderlands 3 will include two popular local co-op features that are free to all players.
