Live next to Halbe Zijlstra in the back of a room where Half-Life 3 is announced, the Weekendwacht reports! With a lot of fighting news for Dragon Ball FighterZ, Street Fighter V and SoulCalibur VI. Also Ni no Kuni II and a Bayonetta 2 easter egg!
Check out the first screens of Broly and Bardock in Dragon Ball FighterZ
Dragon Ball FighterZ already has a nice roster of various fighters, but the developer has at least 8 more planned. The first 2 have now been revealed via an article in the Japanese games magazine V-Jump (scan via DualShockers). Get ready for Broly and Bardock!
Broly is the legendary Super Saiyan and the coolest character in the series (according to 12-year-olds). He was the villain in no less than 3 Dragon Ball Z movies. Bardock is Goku’s father and was murdered with the Saiyan home planet by Frieza. When the characters will become available and how much they will cost is not yet known.
Check out Blanka’s moves in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition
From one fighting game to another. Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition can get ready for Blanka! The green Street Fighter veteran literally has more wild hair than ever, and many of his old moves are returning to the game.
Check out Mitsurugi’s moves in SoulCalibur VI
Go from one fighting… oh wait I already said that. It really is a weekend for fighters! SoulCalibur VI is also in the pipeline and samurai Mitsurugi will of course be back. The developer talks about the swordsman and what makes him so special in this video. You can tick subtitles in the settings if it is not already on.
Overwatch also works well as a fighting game
More fighting games! Well, not quite because Overwatch is of course a multiplayer hero shooter. But TGN has used animations from the game to create an Overwatch fighting game. Little chance that Blizzard will be inspired to actually make this spin-off of their game, but the end result is still very nice. Enjoy!
Take the Hydropolis tour in Ni no Kuni II
Fortunately, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is definitely not a fighting game! Ni no Kuni II promises to be a full-blown JRPG including crazy cities to explore. One of the attractions is visited in this video. Get ready for Queen Nerea’s wetland: Hydropolis! It even has its own eye from Sauron!
Bayonetta 2 amiibo easter eggs hint at Smash Bros and Bayonetta 3
A nice joke of PlatinumGames for the Switch owners with a shitload of amiibo. If you scan certain amiibo in Bayonetta 2, you will see messages written by Rodin. For the Switch version, PlatinumGames has written a few extra that refer to Smash Bros. and Bayonetta 3. No new info is given but it’s a nice extra that you can look below if you don’t want to spend money on amiibo. As long as you spend money on Bayonetta 2 because that game is awesome.
Videogamedunkey reviews Shadow of the Colossus
Videogamedunkey still has nightmares from The Last Guardian but does the Shadow of the Colossus remaster for PS4 charm him? You will find the answer in his hilarious review!
Wassum again. Have a nice Sunday!
