Activate God Mode

God Mode is like a hormonal “Control Panel”, a hidden system menu with a large number of options and tools, which are not activated by default. God Mode is present since Windows Vista and lasts in the days of Windows 10.

Activating it allows, for example, the ability to manage users, modify the taskbar … so that we are going to significantly increase the possibilities of configuration and customization of Windows. And while activating God Mode may not be a secret to many, here we are going to detail the steps to achieve it.

The first step is none other than login with primary user account in order to have administrator privileges. Once logged in, we are going to place ourselves on the desktop and click with the right button of the mouse, selecting “New” Y “Binder”. Yes, we are going to create a new folder on the desktop.

Created the folder, We change the name that it has by default for this other, which is cited in gray. What comes after the point must always be a fixed factor, it cannot be changed, something that does not happen with the name and instead of God Mode we can put whatever we want.

We will then see how the folder icon and the name change, now being a kind of blue icon on the name God Mode (in this case) and also the name for God Mode.

With the new icon on the screen, now what we will have is that double click on it to open a new window which offers a large number of configuration and customization options for Windows 10. We can change almost any aspect but be careful with touching something that we do not know, because along with simple actions related to the aspect, there are other options that can alter the functioning of the system.

The computer will begin to restart and will show us several options on the screen, “Choose an option”, of which we will keep “Solve problems”.

We will see how the possibility of choosing within “Advanced options” the section “Startup configuration” ** appears and then press the button. Restart”.

We can do this from the computer, but What if it doesn’t turn on? We can also access Safe Mode from the non-black screen, and these are the steps.

Without being invaded by despair, you must press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to shut down the computer.

Again we turn it on by means of the button and when Windows has started, hold the power button for 10 seconds to turn it off again. This step must be repeated two more times and it’s about forcing the PC to shutdown while booting.

In the fourth time, the PC will restart completely, but we will see that the “Windows Recovery Environment”. ** From all the options we mark ** “Choose an option” and we follow the route “Solve problems” and later “Advanced Options”.

We must search “Startup Settings” and then click on the button “Restart”. Once it restarts, you must press F5 to enter the “Safe Mode”. From that moment you can use the computer with the basic applications and functions.
