The Call of Duty XP is open now. The sold-out Call of Duty fan event kicked off this morning with a global information session, including the world premiere of the multiplayer trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfarefollowed by the announcement that Activision will host a multiplayer beta of October 14th Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will initially only herald on PlayStation 4. The German version of Modern Warfare Remastered offers the same gaming experience as the original German version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Activision also announced that all 16 of the original multiplayer maps will be available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be included. The ten previously announced maps will be released right at launch, while the other six maps will be available for free starting in December.

Activision has also announced that all owners of the PS4 version of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Jackal Assault, the first-ever Call of Duty experience for PlayStation VR, as a free bonus. Jackal Assault puts players in the role of a fighter pilot in the ___pit of a Jackal fighter jet Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Call of Duty XP attendees will have an on-site opportunity to try out Jackal Assault at the event.

At the start of the epic fan festival, not only the long-awaited multiplayer mode celebrated Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare its world premiere, but also Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered as well as new content for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. The presentation was live streamed in HD on Twitch, Youtube, the official website and the MLG website and will be released via VOD later this weekend.
Kostich added, “Jackal Assault is a cool, fun expansion inspired by Infinite Warfare. We’re excited not only to share this experience with Call of Duty XP attendees this weekend, but to make it available for free to all Infinite Warfare players on PS4 later this year.”
Hosted by Activision, Call of Duty XP is the biggest celebration of the world’s biggest video game series. The event will take place from today through September 4th at the Forum in Inglewood, California, USA.
Fans can cheer on their favorite teams in the inaugural Call of Duty World League Championship, brought to you by PlayStation 4, where you must complete four grueling days of competition to win a share of the $2 million in prize money. the highest prize pool in Call of Duty history.
For fans unable to attend Call of Duty XP in person, select events from the celebration and the Call of Duty World League Championship presented by PlayStation 4 will be live streamed to Twitch, YouTube and the official website. CWL fans can catch the eSports action from Black Ops III also on MLG.TV and via the in-game Live Event Viewer (BOIII PS4).
Call of Duty XP precedes the most anticipated entertainment release of the year, due out on November 4th Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare worldwide together with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered*. Both titles will be released for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and PC. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has not yet received an age rating from the USK.
